Hailey's Facial Concoctions

Edible Creations

Hailey has a book about making natural products for the skin SO... She decided to use some of the recipes and use me as the guinea pig. One of the recipes had onion in it. Actually the one here in the picture is the culprit. Anyway we did this on Monday and today is sunday night and my face still smells like onions. yuck ! I don't think I will be the guinea pig anymore haha

Out Door Adventure Center Mountain Biking Trip

Kris and I went on our first adventure since I had been home. We went with the OAC and friends from ISU down to St. George Utah. We spend Saturday until the following Wednesday on this trip. It was very nice weather the entire time. We sure enjoyed the sun, the fun bike trails, and of course the company. The trails we rode were unlike anything I had been on before. When we reached the top- I would look down in disbelief that I had just mountain biked up that incredible terrain. I loved the feeling of the adrenaline pumping through my heart, the air in my lungs, and the burning in my legs. It was an unforgettable experience in many ways. The beautiful scenery was inspiring and uplifting to my spirit. Truly my favorite place to be is on top of a mountain. Being able to see the milky way and big dipper at night again was so wonderful! This trip made me feel so alive and free. As we were riding the rollercoast like trails I thought to myself I just went from one super sized play ground to another. Cirque and Nature can't really compare, but the feelings that each stir up in me mirror the freedom that is felt as I am in that specific moment and only that moment. Without a care in the world or a desire to be anywhere but here. I also thought to myself: Who needs a theme park, when you can become part of it. Oh I am so greatful for a healthy body that can take me on these adventures and enjoy this world and this life! Best of all with people I love!
